Business visa to Australia

This visa allows you to:

• Legally reside in Australia for 4 years and 3 months;
• Manage a new or existing business in Australia;
• If all the  terms are observed, apply for a business innovation and investment visa (permanent) subclass

An applicant for this visa must:

• Score at least 65 points on an immigration test;
• Provide proof of business success (annual turnover, ownership percentage);
• Have a net business and personal assets of at least 800.000 AUD.

This visa allows you to:

• Legally reside in Australia for 4 years and 3 months;
• To carry out business and investment activities in Australia;
• If all the  terms are observed, apply for a business innovation and investment visa (permanent) subclass

An applicant for this visa must:

• Score at least 65 points in the immigration test;
• Invest 1.500.000 AUD in the state or territory of Australia;
• Have a legal (pure) business and personal assets of at least 2.250.000 AUD.

This visa allows you to:

• Legally reside in Australia for 4 years and 3 months;
• To carry out business and investment activities in Australia;
• If all the terms are observed, apply for a business innovation and investment visa (permanent) subclass

An applicant for this visa must:

• Make an investment of 5.000.000 AUD that meets the requirements of the Australian government for a period of at least 4 years;
• Sincerely seeking to live in the state or country that nominates you.

This visa allows you to:

• To live in Australia for 4 years and 3 months + 2 years (6 years);
• Manage a new or existing business in Australia;
• If all the terms are observed, apply for a business innovation and investment visa (permanent) subclass

An applicant for this visa must:

• If you have a Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 188) for at least 3 years, you can extend it for another 2 years;
• Have only one Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 188).

This visa allows you to:

• Stay in Australia for another 2 years after the expiration of the Significant Investor stream (subclass 188);
• To carry out business and investment activities in Australia;
• If all the  terms are observed, apply for a business innovation and investment visa (permanent) subclass

An applicant for this visa must:

• Have Significant Investor stream (subclass 188) for at least 3 years;
• Have only one Significant Investor stream (subclass 188).

This visa allows you to:

• Legally reside in Australia for 4 years and 3 months;
• To carry out business and investment activities in Australia;
• If all the terms are observed, apply for a business innovation and investment visa (permanent) subclass

An applicant for this visa must:

• Receive an invitation from the Australian Trade and Investment Commission;
• To invest at least 15.000.000 AUD for a period of at least 12 months, and also to confirm the sincerity of the intentions to continue business and investment activities in Australia.

This visa allows you to:

• Legally reside in Australia for 4 years and 3 months;
• To carry out business and investment activities in Australia;
• If all the  terms are observed, apply for a business innovation and investment visa (permanent) subclass

An applicant for this visa must:

• Have  an agreement on sponsorship of at least 200.000 AUD for business activities in Australia;
• Provide the Australian side with a business plan;
• At least competently speak English.

A request for a 188 visa is submitted exclusively online, this is called “express interest” (EOI). After a person has “expressed interest”, it is becoming visible for the state or territory authorities. Each state and territory has its own requirements for candidates. If the request is approved, the candidate will have 60 days to apply for a visa and submit the accompanying documents. Documents are submitted online.

If the invitation has expired and the documents have not been submitted the state or territory authorities send the second invitation in their discretion, i.e. not need to send another request. If after the second invitation the documents are also not submitted, the application will be removed from the SkillSelect system. If you reapply, the process should be started from the beginning.

Important! While “expressing the interest”, it is not required to send any accompanying documents, but we recommend to start collecting them in advance so that the candidate could submit them within the given time limit (60 days). The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) has very serious requirements for candidates. In addition to certified corporate documents and financial balance, the company will need to conduct an audit. The audit should be conducted in accordance with the international financial reporting format.

• Documents confirming the registration of the business (s) in the country of residence;
• Documents confirming the percentage of interest of each applicant in each business;
• Documents evaluating the business property of each applicant;
• Documents evaluating the personal property of each applicant;
• Tax returns from each applicant;
• Financial balance of each business for 2 years in the last 4 years (we recommend to take 2 successful years) prepared by an internationally accredited audit company.

Also, the applicant is obliged to provide certificates of health and certificate of good conduct, as well as the certificate of knowledge of English depending on the type of business visa.

Depending on the circumstances, any other additional documents may be required from the applicant.

Applications for this visa are submitted online. The term of consideration of the visa depends on the class for which the applicant claims (the terms are very different).
