About Netherlands

The Netherlands, mistakenly called as Holland, is a unique and counter-intuitive country. Same-sex relationships are allowed there, but traditional family values are still very strong. It is allowed to use soft drugs, but the percentage of drug addicts is one of the lowest in Europe. There is also a legalized prostitution, as well as euthanasia in the country. At the same time, the people are very cheerful and friendly both to their countrymen and to foreigners. The Dutch are very concerned about the environment, so the main vehicle to flow within the city is a bicycle and a scooter. The country is very tolerant and democratic in the aspects of sexual minorities, so many immigrants tend to move there for this very reason. Let’s not forget about the rich history and wonderful architecture of this country, which annually attracts crowds of tourists.

The Netherlands is one of the founders of the European Union, which confirms its commitment to democratic principles, despite the monarchy. There has been rapid economic growth in recent decades, as well as the desire to introduce and develop high technology, and care for the environment. The Dutch government has strongly attracted foreign investments since 2013 in order to develop the social and economic spheres.

It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Netherlands is very attractive for living and immigration both for European citizens and citizens of the former USSR and CIS.
