Family visa to New Zealand

1. Valid international passport (original) or other travel document for each applicant included in the application. The passport validity must be at least 3 months from the date of departure from the territory of New Zealand;
2. Completed INZ1000 application form with a signature and the date of completion by each applicant and the form with additional information;
3. photos of size 4.5×3.5 from each applicant (the first and last names of the applicant are written on the back);
4. Visa fee receipt;
5. Birth certificate of each applicant included in the application for a visa;
6. Partner support form INZ1178 for permanent residence should be accompanied by confirmation of the New Zealand partner status (that he/she is a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand), police clearance certificate of the receiving party (partner living in New Zealand) in the country where he/she lived for more than 12 months in the last 7 years before the application date (exception – the territory of New Zealand);
7. Police clearance certificate from each applicant included in the application, who has reached the age of 17 years or more, confirming the absence of a criminal record in the country of residence, as well as in the countries in which the applicants lived for 12 months or more during 10 years before application date. The certificate must be issued no earlier than 6 months from the date of submission of documents for the visa;
8. Medical form. The form must be issued not earlier than 3 months before applying for a visa. It is filled in, signed and stamped by a doctor assigned by the immigration authorities of New Zealand:
   1. Each applicant provides completed forms INZ1007 and INZ1096;
   2. For Partner Visa – INZ1201 and INZ1096 Medical form. The form must be issued not earlier than 3 months before applying for a visa. It is filled in, signed and stamped by a doctor assigned by the immigration authorities of New Zealand:

1. “Dependent” children– notarized permission from the parents or one parent or guardian for immigration if the child is under 17 years old. Documents confirming that the child depends on the parents if he is 17 or more.

1. Partner Visa – marriage/divorce certificate (if available). When applying for permanent resident status on the basis of a partnership, the applicant must provide the evidence of cohabitation and the evidence that their relationship is sincere and long-term. Providing the evidence of relationship sincerity is responsibility of the applicant.

If the applicant has changed the name, documentary evidence of this fact will be required.

Visa application processing time is approximately 2 weeks, but, depending on the circumstances, the term may be extended.

A visa officer has the right to request photographs, documents and other information that will facilitate the decision making and inviting the applicant to an interview.
